Where are you from originally and how long have you lived in town?
I’m originally from Ocean, New Jersey. I’ve lived in Morristown since June 2017 and was living in the DC area for almost 15 years before that.

Emilia, 2, and Callie, 10 months
Favorite things to do with your kids?
My favorite thing is just getting on the floor with them and observing them play, whether it’s pretending to be doctors, building with their Magna-tiles, or playing “circle time” and “reading” with their stuffed animals. I also love doing arts and crafts with them! Shout out to Learning Express in Morristown for their free Tiny Tots Tuesday crafts!

I am a certified life coach and own a coaching firm, Elizabeth Lewis LLC (find me @itslizlewis on Instagram as well!). I focus my practice on helping successful women create and sustain their love story, but I also have a coaching package for and professional (and personal interest!) in practicing mindful motherhood. I love helping moms figure out how to best align their time with their values – for example, what are your non-negotiable hours each day to spend with your children? With your Partner? On self-care? For single-and-looking moms or their single friends, check out my upcoming Meet Your Match in 2020 dating workshop series, which began in March but was postponed due to the current COVID-19 situation. I also run the Morristown Mermaids Meet Up group. It’s tough to meet good girlfriends as an adult, so we serve as a way to meet some new friends and have fun with no drama!
If you could give one tip to fellow Mom Entrepreneurs what would it be?
Be patient and know you don’t have to do everything at once. I became a certified coach in 2015 and then took a few years off from it after having 2 babies 16.5 months apart! And I’m going to sneak in 1 other tip from Marie Forleo: “start before you’re ready.” Just go for it and let yourself learn along the way.
One thing people would be surprised to know about you…
My guilty pleasure is watching Bravo! I stumbled upon a taping of Real Housewives of New Jersey when I was out with some girlfriends in Morristown, and even attended part of Bravocon.
How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?
I’m very big on time management, and the fact that I can just go to Mendham Moms and see the “weekend roundup” or other curated events and posts, just for me and local moms, is SO helpful! I love your mantra of “giving moms the gift of time.” That’s more time I can just be with my babies instead of googling on my phone.
