I am originally from Mendham and have lived here my entire life.

I have five Children: Liam -8 yrs old, Morgan – 6 yrs old, Devin – 4 yrs old, Caitlin – 3 yrs old, Kieran – 2 yrs old
Favorite things to do with your kids?
I just love spending time with them in general and doing what interests them individually; Liam loves playing sports (baseball and wrestling), Morgan loves to talk about life in general (questions about everything) Devin is the jokester and loves being silly and playing games, Caitlin is very active; loves swimming, riding her scooter and the swing set, and Kieran is the kid who loves anything motorized (dump trucks, bulldozers, excavators) which makes my job really cool to him!

I’m the President of Wicklow & Laurano Landscaping & Excavating a residential and commercial design/build landscape and excavation firm, The President of Accurate Irrigation LLC a residential and commercial underground sprinkler installation and service firm, as well as the Co-Partner of Wicklow and Laurano Properties where we own and manage our own portfolio of real estate throughout the area.
If you could give one tip to fellow Dad Entrepreneurs what would it be?
Be honest at all times, surround yourself with people better and smarter than you are and always make family time as much as a priority as work time; It’s hard to sometimes separate the balance needed between both work and family.
One thing people would be surprised to know about you…
The thing most people would be surprised to know about me – I was very badly injured in a snowmobiling accident that nearly cost me my life. That experience, both good and bad from it, guides me to be the generous, caring, and appreciative businessman, husband, and father I am today. Proved to me the importance of family, friends, business partners in my life and grounds me to how fragile life is and how important it is to take time away from work and give back – in all ways.
How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?
The community has been instrumental because it is where I started my business. The relationships I made and the opportunities that were given to me early on were critical to allowing us to grow the company to what it is today. Starting a business 5-10 miles in any direction outside of Mendham; the results would certainly be very different from what they are today.
